White pasta and rice, white potatoes and white breads are examples of what to avoid. While practise eating a healthy, balanced diet with lots of vegetables, fruits, lean protein and whole grains.
  4. Throw away the harsh skin care products! Ditch the abrasive scrubs and antibacterial soaps also throw away the back brushes and buff puff as this can worsen acne. You will want to use gentle,  fragrance-free skin care products for the acne on your back.
  5. Swap a backpack. Did you know that a backpack or anything that rubs against your back can irritate your skin and flare up back acne? Limit the back friction with carrying a purse on your shoulder or placing the strap on your arm, whenever possible.
