Why Acne Return and What To Do To Stop The Acne Cycle

Many acne sufferers are distraught not only by the fact that they get acne and by a difficult process of getting rid of unsightly pimples, blackheads, whiteheads or cysts, but also because even after they clear their skin - acne often return.

So why acne problem is so persistent and why for many acne sufferers it seems to be a cycle:

What causes acne:

Acne is caused by an internal physiological imbalance that results in overproduction of sebum (skin oil) by the sebaceous glands.  This overproduction of sebum leads to clogged pores comedones (whiteheads and blackheads) and once bacteria start to grow in the clogged pores the appearance of pimples. Topical acne products target existing comedones and pimples and don’t really target the cause of acne. Prescription drugs like Accutane do reduce sebum production but have many side effects, sometimes so severe that patients need to sign the liability release form. The all natural ingredients in AcnEase also work to reduce sebum production.

What causes the increased sebum production varies from individual to individual for many it relates to fluctuations in hormones levels, that can be due for instance to puberty or to a woman’s menstrual cycle.  Two totally distinct occurrences, but the same underlying factor, fluctuating hormone levels. Some women have androgen induced acne due to over secretion of hormones made by the adrenal gland.

How AcnEase Prevents Acne From Returning

AcnEase actually works in each of these acne settings, what can differ is the number of tablets required to achieve clear skin as well as the duration of treatment.  Another variable is whether once an individual stops taking AcnEase or any other product for acne will the acne return?  This depends on the root cause of their acne. The ingredients in AcnEase work to overcome the impact of the imbalance on the sebaceous glands. This can work for an extended period of time, however, over time the original factor responsible for acne might resurface and initiate the change in physiologic balance. The good news is for those that have used AcnEase then can restart a short course of treatment and head off a full blown return to acne.
