(A) If you have chronic mild acne you may need more than one month treatment.
(B) For individuals with chronic moderate acne need an initial dose of 12 tablets/day (3x4 tablets) for at least 1-2 months. For individuals with severe acne an initial dose of 18 tablets/day (3x6 tablets) may be necessary for a minimum of 2-3 months. Once noticeable improvement is achieved the dose may be reduced to 8 tablets and /or 12 tablets a day. For individuals with chronic severe acne and weighing over 185 pounds the 18 tablet/day dose may be needed for over 3 months.

In response, those glands will over produce sebum (skin oil) and clog pores initiating the acne cascade.
